This is the story of a female Californian sea otter who abandoned life in the open ocean to raise her pup in a harbour in Monterey. The film tells her story as she teaches her pup how to adapt to life in the busy Marina. Most of the film was shot on a cineflex as this was the only way to follow the female and her pup out on the water.
